Gremlin Swim Team

Children who participate on a swim team learn appropriate swimming techniques, gain strength and stamina, and learn the value of being on a team!

The Gremlin’s are a combined community team.  Members of the Pocono and Greenfield Recreational Associations practice and compete together as one team.  Our team is small and a great way for new swimmers to test the waters.  Youth need not be expert or even very fast swimmers; they only need to be able and willing to get into the water and try!  Practicing regularly under the instruction of our able and experienced coach will improve the swimmers ability and speed.

Once school lets out hours will change to:

  • 8 a.m. – 9 a.m. Midgets and Juniors
  • 9 a.m. – 10 a.m. Mini mites and Mites
  • 10 a.m. – 10 a.m. Intermediates and Seniors

  • June 16 Swim Meet Settler's Landing and Shenandoah @ GCA
  • June 23 Swim Meet @ Shenandoah
  • June 30 Swim Meet @ Charter Colony
  • July 7 Swim Meet @ Shenandoah
  • July14 Swim Meet Charter Colony and Shenandoah @ GCA
  • July 21 Swim Meet @ Evergreen

A small neighborhood of 195 homes, Pocono was built in starting around 1971. Pocono features large lots, beautiful wooded areas, a community pool, and some of the best neighbors imaginable. Pocono is conveniently located near numerous shopping, entertainment, and employment centers. Access to major highways is close at hand, with Route 288, The Powhite Parkway, and Chippenham Parkway just a few minutes away.
