The Board is currently planning for the 2009 meeting schedule. Board of Directors meetings are typically closed, but the Board is looking into holding member forums more often than just the Annual Meeting. The Board meetings are closed to allow the Directors a chance to vigorously discuss and thrash out ideas and issues before presenting a unified position to the members. Any member in good standing may request Agenda time during a Board of Directors meeting to present an issue or idea directly to the Board. Any such requests should be directed to the Presiden. All requests are responded to with either a scheduling for presentation or a request to submit the issue in writing instead. But ultimately, ANY and ALL issues can be presented directly to the Board in some form so as to assure that the Board is able to work with all possible information while serving the Members. |
